Orange Essential Oil
Also know as sweet orange oil or orange sweet, the essential oil produced by cold pressing the peel of the Citrus sinensi, or common orange, has been highly sought after for centuries because of its immune-boosting effects, wonderful fresh aroma and cleansing abilities. Cautions: Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. As with all essential oils dilute with a carrier oil prior to applying to the skin, and test in a small area first to be sure there is no skin irritation. This oil has phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun should avoided after direct application to the skin.
